His inspiration comes from his deep, unbreakable relationship with God. The strength of his faith allows for the constant challenge of his creativity and management style, which yields the best artistic representation of any production great or small. His personal mission of paying it forward is represented by working with youth who desire to become a part of the entertainment industry.  He not only mentors youth in the artistic skill of their choice, but also trains them to be business savvy in a world where working smart is the key to a successful career.

Street Dancer
In the 1970s, it was evident that Oakland had a very strong reputation of housing some of the finest street dancers in Bay Area and it’s surrounding cities. Two childhood friends and neighborhood dancers, Walter Freeman and Charles Hill, decided to combine their talents and form a dance group called the “Children of Production.” They knew at a very young age that street dancing was serious business and in order to be recognized as a Oakland Boogaloo they not only had to be great solo dancers, but group dancing would put them over the top. They added more dancers to compete against the best. Micheal Freeman and Darrin Hodges joined the group and the four young men were on their way. When the ’80s came into play the young men changed their name to the “Gentlemen of Production” as they ignited many stages and amazed their fans with the funky street dance called the Boogaloo. Later, James Webb also joined the group. The Gents quickly secured themselves as one of the best dance groups of their era.
